Kathy Lewis Kathy Lewis, 55, of Brazil, died at her residence, February 6, 2010 following a brave battle with cancer.
She was born in Brazil, March 31, 1954, to Richard James and Kathleen Joy (Gray) Allen. She attended Brazil High School and later received her GED at the age of 43. She married John D. Lewis November 25, 1999. Kathy most recently worked as a waitress at Sun Rise Family Restaurant. In her free time she enjoyed making porcelain dolls, sewing, flower gardening and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert J. Allen.
Survivors include her husband John Lewis of Brazil; children: Travis Allen and wife Karen of Brazil, Shelly Floyd of Indianapolis, Mark Floyd III of Plainfield, Austin Malicoat of Brazil, John Lewis and wife Jennifer of Cloverdale, Patricia Pattison and husband James of Indianapolis, and Tina Karol and husband William of Indianapolis; sister Vicki Morris and husband Charles of Brazil; brother Richard J. Allen and wife Patricia of Crawfordsville; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren as well as several extended family members.
Funeral Information
Services will be at French Funeral Home Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Brattain officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm. At her request cremation will follow. Burial will take place at Bee Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
