Daniel G. Pleake

Daniel G. Pleake, 58, of Carbon, IN passed away at Maple Ridge Care Center in Lincoln, IL July 28, 2010 following a battle with Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome.

He was born December 17, 1951 in Putnam County, IN the son of Daniel and Eloise (McCammack) Pleake. Danny graduated from South Putnam High School with the class of 1969. Danny farmed, on his family farm, for most of his life. Presently he was working at Great Dane Trailers in the Dry Freight Department. His passion in life had always been farming. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, friends and his two dogs Tinker and Belle. He will forever be remembered as easy going and relaxed.

He was preceded in death by his brother Alan Pleake.

Danny is survived by his parents: Daniel Pleake of Florida and Eloise Pleake of Greencastle, IN; sons: Daniel Pleake of Carbon, IN and Josh Pleake of Brazil; nephews: Alan Pleake Jr., Jimmy Pleake, and Ronnie Pleake, close family Shirl “Kid” Pleake, Bryton Velazquez, Jack Wiley and Jackie Wiley.

Funeral Information

Services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, at 10:00am, Monday, August 1, 2010 with Pastor Ernie Rush officiating. Burial will follow at New Providence Cemetery in Belle Union, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Sunday from 4-8pm and again Monday from 9am until time of services.
