Dr. Charles French, M.D. CFSP

Chuck grew up in Brazil, Indiana the son of the late Don French and Katherine French. He graduated from Brazil High School in 1968. He graduated from Indiana State University and Indiana University. He was in the first Family Practice Residency group at Union Hospital. He established his medical practice in July of 1979 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He moved his office in September of 2000 to Brazil, Indiana, to be closer to home.

Chuck went back to school in 1996 and completed an Associates Degree in applied science in mortuary science. He maintains a funeral director’s license in both the states of Indiana and Illinois. Chuck tries to balance a busy medical practice with also being able to help at the funeral home. Many times we have been so blessed to have him here with his background and knowledge.

Chuck has a well-known hobby of restoring first antique tractors, and now antique cars. He recently finished a frame-off restoration of a 1930 S&S Hearse. He also purchased a 1931 Buick Model S-87 Sedan that is a close match. He intends to offer a vintage car set for use in funeral service soon.
